Cross-platform content management framework for publishing web content. This is a multi-purpose web
application based on ApPHP MVC Framework.

Step 1. Uncompressing downloaded file.
Decompress the ApPHP Directy CMF script archive.
The archive will create a directory called "PHPDCMF_XYZ", where XYZ represents a number of
current version (for ex.: _201 means version number 2.0.1).
Step 2. Uploading files.
Upload this directory (all files and sub-directories it includes) to your document root
(public_html, www, httpdocs etc.) or to your "directy cmf site" directory using FTP.
Pay attention: DON'T use the capital letters in the name of the folder (for Linux users). For

- Make a full backup of your previously installed site and database before you start updating
- Write down all data from the following files and then delete them from the previous installation:
Copy all translation files from the following directory:
- Decompress the ApPHP Directy CMF script archive.
The archive will create a directory called
"PHPDCMF_xxx", where xxx represents a number of current version (for ex.: _201 means version number
- Upload all files from the new archive into the directory of your current site (this operation will
replace your old files).
Now you can run setup wizard. To do this, open your Internet browser and type in Address Bar
You have to see the setup wizard starting page. Follow the instructions on the screen. While updating
process select Update option, then enter the database connection parameters and database prefix that
were written in protected/config/db.php (see step 2), also enter admin username and password, that were
used in your previous installation.
You must select Installation Type: UPDATE
- After successful updating you will get an appropriate message on the screen.
- To make sure your previous accounts are working as extected, open protected/config/main.php file and
change there some important configuration data from previous installation (see p.2): all
'installationKey' and 'password' parameters. Also if your previous installation used multiple languages,
you have to replace all needed translation files with the saved from previous installation (see p.2).
- That's all! Congratulations, you now have ApPHP Directy CMF updated!
On this page users may log into Backend, using their username and password. User may also click on
"Back to Site" link in the top-left corner to return to the website's Frontend.
On this page users may restore forgotten password, buy entering the email associated with their account.
This system will send an email for creating new password.
Backend dashboard allows site administrators to view important site information, like: latest news,
account general information, date of the last login, last registered users etc.
It also displays some important alerts or warnings and hot keys (dashboard icons).
This page allows administrators to config important settings of your site.
These settings split into some tabs for proper and easy management.
To open site settings page click Site Settings link from General menu in the side bar or icon Settings on

- E-mail address - address that used for system messages in "FROM" field
- SMTP Settings: host, username, password etc.
