1. Installing Modules for ApPHP Directy CMF


A new installation of module for ApPHP Directy CMF is a very straight forward process:

Step 1.1 Uncompressing downloaded file.


Decompress the module script archive. The archive will create a directory called "PHPDCMF_MOD_NAME", where NAME represents a name of the current module.


Step 1.2 Uploading files.


Upload this directory (all files and sub-directories it includes) to the protected/modules/ directory of your "Directy CMF" site using FTP.

Pay attention: DON'T use the capital letters in the name of the folder (for Linux users).
For example:
public_html/{directory-cmf-site}/protected/modules/{your-module}


Step 1.3 Changing Site Configuration.


Now open your site cofiguration file protected/config/main.php and add new module in the list of allowed modules:

  'setup'=>array('enable'=>true, 'removable'=>false, 'backendDefaultUrl'=>''),
  'cms'=>array('enable'=>true, 'removable'=>true, 'backendDefaultUrl'=>''),

Step 1.4 Running Installation.


To complete the installation procedure go to Modules / Modules Management page in Administrator Panel, select the module you want to install and click on link Install. The system will install the module and if procedure is complete you will see a message about success installation.



2. Updating Modules in ApPHP Directy CMF


Updating of module for ApPHP Directy CMF is a very simple process:

Step 2.1 Uncompressing downloaded file.


Decompress the module script archive. The archive will create a directory called "PHPDCMF_MOD_NAME", where NAME represents a name of the current module.


Step 2.2 Replacing Old Files.


Replace old module directory files with the new version. Do do this simply remove old module derectory from protected/modules/ and reupload there a new module (all files and sub-directories it includes) using FTP.

Pay attention: DON'T use the capital letters in the name of the folder (for Linux users).
For example:
public_html/{directory-cmf-site}/protected/modules/{your-old-module}


Step 2.3 Running Update.


To complete the update procedure go to Modules / Modules Management page in Administrator Panel, select the module you want to update and click on link Update (appears only if your module has highest version that installed). The system will update the selected module and if procedure is complete you will see a message about success updating.



3. Uninstallation Modules in ApPHP Directy CMF


To uninstall/delete previously installed module go to Modules / Modules Management page in Administrator Panel, select the module you want to update and click on the icon Delete (appears only if your module has been installed before). The system will delete the selected module and if procedure is complete you will see a message about success operation.

When procedure is complete you may delete module from protected/modules/ directory.
